The Holy Family consists of the Child Jesus, the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph.
This Holy Family is created in the Pueblo form using Elk Antler. Both Mary and Joseph's double strand necklaces are inlaid with natural materials of Kingman Turquoise, Fox Turquoise and Mediterranean Coral. Mary's Pueblo dress and Joseph's belt and shirt are inlaid with Mediterranean Coral, Light Green Serpentine and grade lapis. The pigments on both Mary and Joseph are Black Jet, Pipe-Stone, Green Serpentine and Lapis. Their moccasins are burnished for color. Baby Jesus lays in his straw manger, wrapped in a pueblo woven blanket inlaid with Kingman Turquoise, Mediterranean Coral, Variscite and Lapis. The pigments on Jesus are Pipe-Stone and Black Jet.
