Troy recreates this style of bear in homage to his familial style of fetishes. This simple style standing bears was created by Troy's uncles Miguel and Raymond (Ramie) Haloo in the 1970's, to which Troy's older brother Colvin added Turquoise and Coral inlays to symbolize simple necklaces.
White Bears symbolize Strength and Protections. They are considered Medicine Bears and are imbued with the power of Healing.
Hand carved Elk Antler Standing Bears inlaid with Black Pen Shell eyes and variations of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise & red Mediterranean Coral necklaces. Claws are inlaid with Black Jet pigment with burnished noses, ears & tails.
