A young owl that has left the nest but still learning to fly and hunt is called a Fledgling. They often remain near the nest and relies on its parents for food and guidance.
Owls are the Guardians of the Home and Protector of the Family. Owl fetishes are used to ward off Unseen forces from the Home and kept on your person as Protection. Owls also represent Family as most roost together until the young owls become independent and leave their parents. They are a symbol of Loyalty because they mate for Life.
