Baby badgers are called Kits. They are born in late winter or early spring and stay underground in the den with the mother for a few months. From 3-5 months they will leave their mother's care in summer or fall to become independent.
This kit is ready to leave the den. Hand carved of Elk Antler and inlaid eyes of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. The stripes on the badgers back are inlaid with Black Jet and Green Serpentine pigments.
