A wonderful hand carved Deer Antler Sun Father with eyes of calming Black Pen Shell. The boarder above the eyes are inlaid Black Pen Shell and Gold Mother of Pearl. The left side of the forehead is inlaid with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and the other side is Orange Spiny Oyster Shell. A single Gold Mother of Pearl hand carved Eagle Plume is secured with Sterling Silver into the antler. The burnished crown of the antler serves as his light. The many strands of necklaces are inlaid with Mediterranean Coral, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Lapis. His hands rest on his sash belt that is inlaid with Red Pipe Stone pigment with a single stone of Malachite. His ceremonial robe is folded over his arms with designs of cloud bursts of Lapis pigment, bottom footing and dragonfly inlaid with Green Serpentine pigment. the stone inlay is Mediterranean Coral, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Light Green Serpentine. The bottom stone boarder is inlaid with Black Pen Shell, Green Serpentine, Lapis, Abalone and Angle Skin Coral. The lines on the kilt are inlaid with Black Jet pigment and Mediterranean Coral. Single Sleeping Beauty Turquoise buttons on either side of his moccasins with burnished soles for color and detail.
