This handmade Zuni Maiden Plush is named Sunflower. She begins with a free form drawing and then made into a stencil. Each piece of felt is individually cut, pinned, hand stitched and stuffed with Poly-Fill. She is a beautiful creation of pure whimsy and talent which branches off from the carvings and sculptures Ray* is known for. (*These creations are the FIRST Of Its Kind made by the Artist.)
She is dressed in a traditional manta and adorn with a turquoise and coral necklace. Her face is highlighted with rosy cheeks and her hair is styled in traditional hair buns. She wears white buckskin moccasins with legs wraps.
