A traditional Zuni Corn maiden hand carved from Elk Antler with incised hair and eyes inlaid with Black Jet pigment & mouth inlaid with red Mediterranean Coral.
Her necklaces and kernels of corn are inlaid with red Mediterranean Coral.
The traditional shawl is designed with Red Pipestone Star motifs inlaid lime green Serpentine stones and a blue Lapis pigment Dragonfly motif.
A geometric pattern of green Serpentine is accented with inlaid stones of blue Lapis, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and red Mediterranean Coral.
The fringe is burnished for contrast and highlight the detail.
