The Northern Saw-Whet Owl is the other smallest owl in America. They live in the forests, hunting small rodents and other small animals. This owl gets its name from the call it makes, sounding like a saw being sharpened on a whetting stone.
Hand carved from Elk Antler, this focused owl is watching the slightest movement on the forest floor with Gold Lip Mother of Pearl and Black Pen Shell eyes. His beak is inlaid with shimmering Black Pen Shell. Details of Burnished talons, feathers and head.
