On a full moon night, a screech owl sits in the trees moonlighting waiting for its next meal.
A hand carved Elk Antler owl inlaid with Gold Mother of Pearl and Black Pen Shell eyes with a Black Pen Shell beak. Incised markings on the head and chest make a nice feather design. On back, incised marking of feather designs and burnishing give great color and contrast.
Owl medicine is wisdom, patience, insight and the ability to see beyond the surface of things. A guide of difficult times. A guardian of the night, to see things no one can see.
