Straight from the Tucson gem and mineral show comes this natural Ethiopian Opal specimen.
A simple carving of a traditional medicine bear with inlaid eyes of Lapis. This simple style showcases the Opals fire with-in. When moved in different angles, you can see the glittery effect of the opal. The offering bundle is composed of wonderful materials of a hand carved Abalone arrow point with Mediterranean Coral and faceted Lapis beads. A tiny hand carved Sugilite bird sits on top to finish the offering.
This rare carving would be Troy's second opal piece to date.
