The Spring showers that fertilize the Mother Earth help the process of Spring evolve. These cleansing rains also purify the hearts of all Nature's creatures, causing the flower of the Heart to bloom, to become wiser, therefore more beautiful.
East is the representative of the Spring Season- the direction of the Dawn/Light.
Spring brings back the Power of the Light.
Light, is the relationship of the Sun to the Earth and defines the Seasons.
Light has the effect of awakening both the Earth and her children.
The Sun gives Light to the Earth.
Light activates the Essence of Love.
Love is the Power of Springtime and as Mother Earth awakens, she exudes that Love.
The Energy of Love is reborn in the Spring.
A beautiful Mother Earth figure, hand carved of Elk Antler. She is caught in motion, posed on one foot while performing a cleansing to Welcome the Spring Season. She has two eagle feathers carved of Elk Antler wrapped in buck skin in her right hand, while caressing her pregnant belly with her left. A hand carved eagle feather with a sterling silver bale adorns her carefully incised Pueblo butterfly whorl hair buns. She wears multiple strands of Turquoise that represents the Sky and the Rain. She wears black cord ceremonial wraps around her ankles representing the significance of her elite status.
