A Deer Antler Maiden fetish wearing a traditional shawl which is gathered at the wrists to showcase her hands. She has perfectly incised bangs. Her eyes are inlaid with black Pen Shell and mouth inlaid with red Mediterranean Coral.
The shawl is inlaid with blue Lapis stones and Sleeping Beauty turquoise. Geometric patterns, Star motifs and a Dragonfly motif are inlaid with Black Jet pigment, Red Pipestone pigment and blue Lapis pigment. Burnished hem to highlight fringe detail.
She wears an inlaid necklace of red Mediterranean Coral and Sleeping Beauty turquoise.
Her belt is inlaid with Red Pipestone pigment and blue Lapis stones.
The front of her dress is inlaid with Black Jet pigment and a floral design of red Mediterranean Coral & blue Lapis stones. The back of her dress is inlaid with blue Lapis pigment.
Her moccasins are carved to show her traditional leather wraps and inlaid with Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The soles are burnished for contrast.
