During times of conflict, many brave women take the stand to defend their homes and protect their families.
That legacy still remains.
To the Zuni and Hopi, they are called Warrior Women*, an esteemed title bestowed on all the Warrior Women in our Armed Forces.
*Warrior Women- Women whom symbolize Strength, Integrity, Wisdom and Sacrifice.
A hand carved Elk Antler Warrior Mother fetish, ready to protect and defend. She wears Mediterranean Coral on her necklace and holds a Sterling Silver spear with a Elk Antler Sun Shield on her left. The shield has a hand carved Gold Lip Mother of Pearl feather pinned and secured with Sterling Silver wire. Her hair is half done symbolizing that she took to action at a split notice to defend the People. She wears a Golden Eagle plume in her hair to show her importance.
