The mountain lion is considered the elder brother of all the other protective and hunting animals.
Mountain Lion is associated with personal power, resourcefulness, independence, leadership, spiritual intuition, fierce protectiveness and loyalty. He is carried by travelers to protect them on their journey and carried by hunters to help ensure a successful hunt.
A standing mountain Lion ready to leap on his prey is carved of Deer Antler. His eyes are inlaid with Lapis and a wonderful offering bundle made up of natural materials such as Golden Mother of Pearl, Carico Lake Turquoise, Mediterranean Coral and faceted Tibetan Turquoise. The cute button nose, ears and tip of tail are burnished for color and detail.
