Every Fall there is a celebration of good harvest in all Pueblos. Here is a youthful maiden ready to take part in the festivities. Her headdress is inlaid with Lapis and Malachite. Her eyes are of Black Pen Shell and Mediterranean Coral for her mouth. The many strands of necklaces are inlaid of Mediterranean Coral, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Lapis. Between her hands you can see a portion of her belt in Black Jet pigment. Below her long fine hair a triangle design with Lapis pigment with Malachite and Light Green Serpentine drops. The apron in front of her dress is inlaid with more Light Green Serpentine and Pipe Stone pigment in the square design. The fringe on her shawl is burnished to show depth. The hem of her dress has two Black Jet pigment lines. Her buckskin wraps are finished with Turquoise round pins. The moccasins are burnished to show detail.
