A family of owls nesting high in a tree. Carved of Deer Antler, the two parent owls are inlaid with Gold Lip Mother of Pearl and Pen Shell eyes with beaks of Black Lip Mother of Pearl. The three little observant owlets are all inlaid with Pen Shell. Skillful burnish detailing of the parents wings and the tree trunk.
Owl medicine is the protector of the home, a messenger and the keeper of the night. Owls can see what others cannot.
