Gaspeite is a rare nickel carbonate mineral and a member of the calcite mineral group. It was first discovered in the Gaspe Peninsula of Quebec, Canada, from which it received its name.
A bobcat hand carved of a wonderful coloration of Gaspeite. The eyes are inlaid with natural Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. The bobcat is a part of the hunting and protection animals in Zuni.
