With the sound of thunder and lightning on the horizon, this fabulous Rain Frog and his vibrant dragonfly friend, are having a celebratory dance to welcome the Monsoon Season for some much needed rain in the American South West.
The frog represents Fertility and Blessings in all its forms especially pertaining to the Bounties of Life: Health, Wealth, Happiness and Positivity.
The dragonfly represents a Messenger as he carries our prayers to the Ancestors.
This bejeweled frog is hand carved of Elk Antler and made to balance on either foot. He is incised and inlaid with 3 different types of Turquoise: Rare Carico Lake Turquoise, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Kingman Turquoise as well as Green Serpentine, Pink Japanese Coral, Malachite, Mediterranean Coral, Lapis and Gold Mother of Pearl.
The frog is cradling a hand carved Italian Coral dragonfly inlaid with Orville Jack Turquoise eyes and incised/inlaid wings of Gold Mother of Pearl. The dragonfly is secured to the frog with steel pins.
This beautiful, museum quality Award Winning piece will be a great addition to any collection.
